Flag of the Department of Quindío

The Flag of the Department of Quindío is a vertical tricolour triband, and it was designed by Solita Lozano de Goméz, who also designed the Coat of arms of the Department of Quindío.
It colors are:
- Green, symbolizing its vast vegetation, and the agriculture.Image:Cafe Quimbaya 2005-08-27.jpg
- Yellow, symbolizing the department’s great contribution to the economy of the country.
- Purple, an expression of maturity, and it’s the color of the coffee bean when its ready to be picked, coffee being the departments most important product.
