Filmfare RD Burman Award for New Music Talent

The Filmfare R.D. Burman Award for New Music Talent is given by the Filmfare magazine as part of its annual Filmfare Awards for Hindi films.
The award is named the late R.D. Burman. The award commemorates new talent in the industry as well as inspiring musicians to break new ground in composing.
The first award in this category was first given in 1994.
