Filmfare Best Supporting Actress Award
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Filmfare Best Supporting Actress Awards is given by the Filmfare magazine as part of its annual Filmfare Awards for Hindi films.
Although the awards started in 1953, awards for the best supporting actress category started only the following year. Frequent winners have included Nirupa Roy, Farida Jalal and Jaya Bachchan (3 awards each).
Vyjantimala is the only actress to have not accepted her award in the role of Chandramukhi for Devdas, citing that she believed she was the leading actress of the movie.
Here is a list of the award winners and the films for which they won.
