Derek Yee

Derek Yee Tung Shing (traditional Chinese: 爾冬陞; simplified Chinese: 尔冬陞; pinyin: Ěr Dōngshēng, born 1957) is a Hong Kong film director and former Shaw Brothers movie actor who has achieved fame and respect in Hong Kong and international film festival circuits for treading carefully commercial viability concerns with artistic integrity. He has made a career out of films like C'est la vie, mon chéri, Viva Erotica and The Truth About Jane and Sam.
