than one group, and the percentages from each ethnicity do not add up to 100% overall. However the most popular choice was "Canadian", and this may mean that the other figures are not reliable as a record of the relative prevalence of the various ethnic origins represented by the other choices. When compared with the United States, Canada has a greater English, Scottish, French, Ukrainian, Asian, and Aboriginal presence, equal Scandinavian prescence and a smaller German, Italian, and Black proportion.
