Corus Entertainment Inc. TSX: CJR.B NYSE: CJR is a publicly traded Canadian media and entertainment company.
Corus is a leading Canadian specialty television and radio producer, with additional assets in pay television, advertising and digital audio services, television broadcasting, children's book publishing and children's animation. The company’s multimedia entertainment brands include YTV, Treehouse TV, W Network, Movie Central, Encore Avenue, Nelvana, Kids Can Press and radio stations including CKNW, CKOI and Q107. Corus creates engaging branded entertainment experiences for its audiences across multiple platforms. Corus Entertainment's voting majority is held by the company's founder JR Shaw and his family, which also owns Shaw Communications, from which Corus was spun off in 1999.
