The People's Republic of China's National Men's Ice Hockey team represents the Chinese Ice Hockey Association.

According to the IIHF World Ranking, as of 2007, China is ranked 27th of 46 nations.
- 1999 Men's World Ice Hockey Championships - 4th place, Pool C
- 2001 Men's World Ice Hockey Championships - 5th place, Division I, Group B
- 2002 Men's World Ice Hockey Championships - 6th place, Division I, Group B. Relegated to Division II.
- 2003 Men's World Ice Hockey Championships - 2nd place, Division II, Group B
- 2004 Men's World Ice Hockey Championships - 1st place, Division II, Group A. Promoted to Division I.
- 2005 Men's World Ice Hockey Championships - 6th place, Division I, Group A. Relegated to Division II.
- 2006 Men's World Ice Hockey Championships - 1st place, Division II, Group B. Promoted to Division I.
- 2007 Men's World Ice Hockey Championships - 6th place, Division I, Group A. Relegated to Division II.
- 2008 Men's World Ice Hockey Championships - to be played in Newcastle, Australia.
