Wikipedia naming conventions guidelines can be put in this category by adding {{Wikipedia subcat guideline|naming conventions|<category sort key>}} to the top of such guideline page

The template has built in categorisation, just provide the appropriate "<category sort key>" in the template, for instance for wikipedia:naming conventions (ancient Romans) the "<category sort key>" is "Ancient Romans" (start with capital), thus: {{Wikipedia subcat guideline|naming conventions|Ancient Romans}}
