This category contains numerous pages and subcategories concerning WikiProjects. If you're looking for a specific WikiProject, you may prefer searching WikiProject_Council/Directory or using variants on the All pages listings.

This category is used for administration of the Wikipedia project, and is not part of the encyclopedia. It contains pages which are not articles, or lists articles by status, rather than content.

This category may require frequent maintenance to avoid becoming too large.

It should list very few, if any, article pages directly and should mainly contain subcategories.

Articles in this category should be moved to subcategories where appropriate.

A WikiProject is a page resource devoted to the management of a specific family of information within Wikipedia.

Please be aware that there is a category of existing inactive WikiProjects. Inactive WikiProjects are not listed in this category, and are automatically removed by AllyUnion's bot, Kurando-san. A log of removed categories are listed at Wikipedia talk:List of inactive WikiProjects.
