Burlington College is a private liberal arts college located in Burlington, Vermont. The college attempts to engage students in activities promoting social and community involvement while providing traditional university level education through their degree programs.

The university also offers students study abroad options in the European Union, and in 2008 the college plans to be one of the few universities in the United States to offer a study abroad program in Havana, Cuba in conjunction with the University of Havana.[2]

In 2007, the college announced plans to expand the college's Main Campus in Burlington's Old North End district. Plans also include the expansion of current degree programs, while offering new degree options.

The President of Burlington College is Dr. Jane O'Meara-Sanders.

Burlington College's also is host to the "Institute for Civic Engagement." The Institute holds discussions, debates, and lectures on issues that impact the local, state, national, and international community as a whole. A Vermont state representative leads the Institute.
