Beaufort Island () is an island in the Ross Sea, the northernmost feature of the Ross Archipelago, lying 12 miles north of Cape Bird, Ross Island. it was discovered and named in 1841 by James Ross for Captain Francis Beaufort of the Royal Navy, Hydrographer to the Admiralty.
