Bald: The Making of 'THX 1138' is a short film by George Lucas.
The film features a conversation between George Lucas and Francis Ford Coppola, the director and producer of THX 1138. They discuss Lucas' vision for the film, including his ideas about science fiction in general and in particular his concept of the "used future" which would famously feature in his film Star Wars.
The film also focuses on the requirement that all actors in THX 1138 would have their heads shaved. The principal actors Robert Duvall and Maggie McOmie were taken to public places (including the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco) and filmed while having their hair cut off and their heads shaved.
