[edit] In popular culture

The song has been covered by American reggae band Big Mountain. Will to Power had a US number one with it in 1988, as a medley with Lynyrd Skynyrd's "Free Bird". It was also featured in the movie High Fidelity, performed by Lisa Bonet's character "Marie DeSalle". "Is that Peter-fucking-Frampton?" enquired Rob (John Cusack) as he walked into the bar in which DeSalle was singing it. Until that point, he had hated the song.
