Apalachicola

Apalachicola is name given to numerous Native American settlements in the southeastern United States, after the Apalachicola tribe.

The word "Apalachicola" is variously translated as "place of the ruling people"[1], "those people residing on the other side or shore" [2], or "land of the friendly people" [3].
