TV.com summary

Anything But Love is an American television sitcom, which aired on ABC from 1989 to 1992. The show starred Richard Lewis and Jamie Lee Curtis as Marty Gold and Hannah Miller, coworkers with a mutual romantic attraction to each other, who struggled to keep their relationship strictly professional.

The show's cast also included Ann Magnuson, Richard Frank, Holly Fulger, Sandy Faison, Louis Giambalvo, Billy Van Zandt and Bruce Weitz.

A young Tia Carrere guest starred a number of times as Marty's grown-up adopted daughter.

[edit] Cancellation

While the show was initially popular in its abbreviated first season, the show was significantly retooled for the second season, with many first season cast members being dropped and the plot line was revamped to have Hannah promoted to writer after the magazine is taken over by new owners.

Further, ABC moved the show's time slot around numerous times causing a large drop in the series' ratings.
