  • Amaravati (mythology), in Hinduism, (అమరావతి) is the capital of Svarga, a temporary paradise where the dead live. It is ruled by Indra and located on Mt. Meru.
  • Amaravati River, flows from Kerala into Tamil Nadu, where it joins the river Kaveri
  • Amaravati (India), a small town on the banks of river Krishna in the state of Andhra Pradesh
  • Amravati, the name given to a district and its headquarters in the state of Maharashtra (India)
