Allure is a women's beauty magazine. It was founded in 1991, and its current Editor in Chief is Linda Wells. The magazine has different features, all based on the subject of beauty. A signature of the magazine is its annual Best of Beauty awards, a combination of readers' and editors' picks for their favorite products. Allure celebrated its 15th anniversary in 2006. Recent cover subjects have included Britney Spears, Jessica Simpson, Lindsay Lohan, Eva Longoria, Gwyneth Paltrow, Kate Hudson, Jennifer Garner, Christina Aguilera, Katie Holmes, and Gwen Stefani. Allure is published monthly by Condé Nast Publications in New York City.
