The Ain-e-Akbari is a detailed document recording the administration of emperor Akbar's empire written by his vizier, Abu'l-Fazl ibn Mubarak[1]. It contains details of Hindu beliefs and practices as well as a history of India. The original Persian text was translated into English by H. Blochmann and Colonel H.S. Jarrett in three volumes from 1873-1907, and published by the Asiatic Society of Bengal in Calcutta[2].
