Abelisaurs were a group of Ceratosaurian dinosaurs which lived all over the southern hemisphere (with the exception of Tarascosaurus in Southern Europe) during the Cretaceous period. Some well-known species include Abelisaurus, Carnotaurus, and Majungasaurus.
