Abbeyshrule (Irish: Mainistir Shrúthla) is located in south-east County Longford, Ireland, on the Royal Canal. There is an airfield near the village, is also located beside the Royal Canal.
Abbeyshrule's airodrome is located just outside the village alongside the Royal Canal. Its asphalt runway 10/28 measures 799m.
Growing popular for midland business affairs, being geographically well situated, between major urban centres such as Athlone, Longford, Mullingar, permitting business swift access to Paris Beauvais.
