A Farewell to Arms (released 1932) is the first film adaptation of Ernest Hemingway's novel by the same name, A Farewell to Arms. The film was written by Oliver H.P. Garrett and Benjamin Glazer, and directed by Frank Borzage. It features the music of Richard Wagner. The movie stars Helen Hayes, Gary Cooper and Adolphe Menjou.[1]
The movie has since fallen into public domain and is freely available.[2]
