A BEST 2 -WHITE- is one of two CDs in the greatest hits series A Best 2 by Japanese pop singer-songwriter Ayumi Hamasaki. It was released on February 28, 2007 in Japan along with its counterpart A Best 2 -Black-. The album debuted at #1 in Japan and several countries throughout Asia, as well as #1 on the United World Chart.

Both sets are available in 1CD+2DVD versions with limited version covers for each albums color. Both albums feature songs between the release of her "evolution" single to her "Bold & Delicious/Pride" single. A Best 2 -White- includes "Light" songs with "bright/cheerful/upbeat" lyrics while A Best 2 -Black- is the opposite including "Dark" songs with "painful/heartbroken" lyrics. The 1st DVD includes all PV's for the songs off the album while the 2nd DVD includes her latest Countdown Live "Best of Countdown Live 2006-2007". On January 15, 2007 this release was confirmed by her Official website. On January 16, 2007 track listing for both CDs were officially released. The album covers and DVD track listings were released on February 6, 2007.
