- Siege of Jerusalem during the First Crusade:
- June 7 — The First Crusade: The Siege of Jerusalem begins.
- July 8 — 15,000 starving Christian soldiers march around Jerusalem.
- January 13 — Crusaders set fire to Mara, Syria.
