Juan Pérez (born 3 September 1978) is a left-handed pitcher in Major League Baseball, currently a member of the Pittsburgh Pirates. The Pirates acquired him on waivers from the New York Mets. The Mets purchased his contract from the Pawtucket Red Sox in November 2005, and optioned him to the Norfolk Tides in March 2006.[1][2] Perez was selected to play in the 2004 All-Star Futures Game.
