Columbia blue is a light blue tertiary color. The typical Columbia blue is defined by Pantone as Columbia Blue 3 (PANTONE® 292).
[edit] Usage, symbolism, colloquial expressions
- Some fraternities and sororities also use Columbia blue for their colors, e.g. Omega Tau Zeta, Acacia, and Lambda Kappa Sigma.
- Columbia blue is used as one of the two color symbols for colleges and universities such as Creighton University, Columbia University, and Johns Hopkins University.
