Biwi No.1 is a 1999 Bollywood comedy directed by David Dhawan and starring Salman Khan, Karisma Kapoor, Sushmita Sen, Anil Kapoor and Tabu. Saif Ali Khan is featured in a special appearance.

Salman Khan,a very much married man with kids gets involved in an affair with model Sushmita Sen.He prefers Sushmita to Karisma because unlike his wife,she is modern and wears modern fashionable clothes.He then shifts to Sen's house and starts living with her.Karisma,meanwhile with the help of Salman's friend Anil Kapoor has a make-over.She is known the modern woman who does many modelling assignments.Also,she sends her mother-in-law and children to live with her husband.They all trouble Sushmita no end and prove to Salman that she keeps them hungry and wants to kill them and poison them.
This is a remake of Sathi Leelavathi, a Tamil movie starring Kamal Hassan and Ramesh Arvind which released in 1994. This film was directed by Balu Mahendra.
